‘Khuljaye Bachpan’ with Kellogg’s Chocos!!!

Parents and their children hold a special relationship with each other. The relationship between parents and their children have a great effect on the child's life. Through the readings, this is apparent in positive relationships, negative relationships, and in average relationships between the parent and the child.A positive relationship between parents and their children helps with the upbringing of the child.

Few months back a new neighbor Rekha along with her family shifted into the flat next to ours. She has a 5 year old adorable kid Ananya(Anu). Rekha treats her kid like her friend and she always love to spend time with her. I love their relationship, as it is quite different from the usual mother and kid relationship. Rekha plays along with Anu like a small kid without showing any difference. She tries to teach Anu everything in a super easy and fun method without making her feel stressed or bored. When I asked about their relationship, Rekha told that this is called the Buddy Parenting, where parents treat children as their 'Buddy' i.e., like their friend and she also told that it has made many positive impacts on Anu.

It is believed that buddy parents view parenting as interactive and not instructive. Today, kids know a lot. The best way to bond with kids is to participate and learn about their world and in the process learn new things. Buddy parents are those who make learning fun and create bonding moments with their kids that go on to make for a happy and secure childhood.

When it comes to parenting your kids do you spend most of your time pointing out what they’re doing wrong or what they’re doing right? If you’re like most time poor parents the chances are you’re quicker at identifying the things your kids need to improve upon, but is this best way to raise kids who are resilient and able to cope with stress.

Brand Chocos helps in creating ‘Khushi Ke Pal’ between parent and child. This philosophy is articulated as ‘Khuljaye Bachpan’. ‘Khuljyaye Bachpan’ is about being unfettered and fearless. ‘Khuljaye bachpan’ is about empowerment, not being authoritative and thus letting kids be kids. ‘Khuljaye bachpan’ is symbolic of ‘unlocking’ the way childhood should be. Helping your princess bake her first cake, while she teaches you to take your first selfie! Your son helping you makes the grocery list; while you inculcate the values of sharing in him. These and many more ‘bonding moments’ make learning fun and create a happy and secure childhood.
