Tangy Goodness To Skin!!!


   .Every girl dreams of having a flawless and radiant skin. To achieve this, everyone try different creams, lotions, bleaches, facials, treatments...What not??? And spend lots and lots of money for getting the desired skin. It is always better to rely on natural skin care methods, which help you in making your skin clean and clear without any side effects. You can find many effective natural remedies in the kitchen itself!!!
Tangy Goodness To Skin!!!
Many kitchen ingredients like Cinnamon, Cumin, Clove, Garlic etc., can be used to treat different skin issues like pimples, rashes, and pigmentation. Even the tangy Tamarind contains Tartaric acid which is a powerful antioxidant, along with high amounts of Vitamins A & C, which can help in giving a brighter and glowing skin. Today let’s see some homemade face packs using this miraculous Tamarind.

For any face pack, we need to use the Tamarind pulp, which can be extracted by soaking tamarind in hot water for 10-15 minutes, and mash the pulp, then filter out the excess water and extract the pulp.

1) For Blemishes: To 1 tsp of Tamarind pulp, add half a tsp of Honey,1 tsp of Rose water and mix well. Apply this mixture to the blemishes or to the entire face and leave it for 7-10 minutes, Rinse it with luke warm water followed by normal water. Follow this twice or thrice a week for at least a month, to see a visible difference.

2) For Skin lightening : To 1 tsp of tamarind pulp, add a tsp of sandal wood powder and required amount of rose water to make an even paste and apply it to the entire face and neck leaving the area around eyes. Allow it to stay on the face for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cold water.

3) For Tan Removal: To a tsp of Tamarind pulp, add a tsp of curd and apply to the affected area and allow it to stay on the area for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with normal water.

4) For Reducing Oiliness on the face : To a spoon  full of tamarind pulp, add equal amount of multani mitti and sufficient amount of rose water and make a paste and apply it on the face and neck leaving the area around the eyes. After 10-12 minutes wash it with cold water.

5) For Acne and Pimples: To a tsp of Tamarind pulp, add equal amount of mint juice and a tsp of Gram flour. Mix them properly and apply it on the affected area and leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse it with normal water.

These are some of the best and effective face packs for reducing various skin problems like blemishes, acne, darkness, tan, oiliness etc., using the magical Tamarind, which is the most easily available ingredient in our kitchen.So,give Tangy Goodness To Skin!!!

Note : Those who have sensitive skin should do a patch test behind the ear, to see whether you skin is sensitive to tartaric acid present in the tamarind.
